As He approaches the city, Jesus sends two of His disciples ahead to find a colt, instructing them to tell anyone who asks that "The Lord has need of it."

As Jesus rides into Jerusalem, the crowd erupts in praise, spreading cloaks on the road and shouting, “Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord! Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!” This scene is one of celebration and expectancy, with the people acknowledging Jesus as the Messiah. Jesus Weeps Over Jerusalem (Verses 41-44)

As Jesus draws near to Jerusalem, He looks over the city and weeps, saying, “If you had known on this day even you, the conditions for peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes.” This moment reveals Jesus' deep compassion for His people.
